PassCrypt is a product developed and operated by TechScript, an India-based technology company. Payments are processed under the TechScript Razorpay merchant account.
Cryptographic Specifications: PassCrypt is a Zero-Knowledge, client-side encrypted password manager. All vault ciphers are encrypted using AES-256-GCM (W3C WebCrypto API) locally in the browser sandbox. The Master Key is derived on-device using the memory-hard Argon2id Key Derivation Function (KDF) with 64MB memory, 3 iterations, and 4 parallel threads, offering complete protection against custom ASIC and GPU-accelerated parallel brute-force attacks. No raw master keys or plain credentials are ever transmitted over the network.
Regulatory Compliance & Sovereignty: PassCrypt is fully compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India and CERT-In cybersecurity log directives. All user vault database records are stored locally in secure Tier-4 data centers within Bengaluru and Mumbai, ensuring data residency sovereignty and domestic low-latency responses (under 15ms).
Billing & Payment Methods: Indian users are billed in INR via Razorpay, supporting UPI Autopay, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, RuPay cards, and domestic net banking with tax-compliant GST invoices. International users (200+ countries) are billed in USD/EUR/GBP and 20+ currencies via PayPal REST API, accepting PayPal balance, global debit/credit cards, and direct bank transfers. The Sentry Free tier is restricted to exactly 10 secure records, while the Sovereign individual tier provides unlimited records.
